ali has been obsessed with makeup and beauty for as long as she can remember. as soon as she stepped into a cosmetics store at the age of 13 she was hooked. throughout her teenage years she was constantly learning new makeup techniques and expanding her knowledge. less than 1 month after graduating high school Ali quit her job, moved to vancouver and enrolled into the makeup artistry diploma program at john casablancas institute and completed the program with honours in june 2015. ali has since expanded her experience to makeup artistry in all fields including film, bridal, fashion, retail, teaching future makeup artists at john casablancas, & her newest venture; creating her own skincare. as a beauty junkie, it was a perfect fit for ali to join the beautybar team!
