halloween inspiration: get gorgeously ghoul-y with beautybar!

halloween is fast approaching and adding touches of the ghoul-ish holiday to your look doesn’t mean a trip to a specialty costume shop! dig into your beauty arsenal and get your gorge on… in a slightly more goth way. double duty beauty products will be the secret weapon to this year’s halloween costume (now that’s a trick that’s really a treat!)

• using a liquid liner and getting bold and graphic on the eyes, then doubling it as a face paint (try geisha ink liquid eyeliner) or smoking out a midnight black eye shadow on the lids, and mixing some pigment with a creamy balm for the lips.

• nail art is a creative way to represent the dark holiday - drip some bright red polish over the tips of your nails to mimic blood (rgb too red will do the trick).

• paint your fingertips with a glam coat of gold speckled black lacquer (deborah lippmann cleopatra in new york is our choice), or brush on a slick, glossy shade of black licorice (like rgb black) for a serious beauty treat.
